General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, has firmly reassured citizens that Bahrain is not part of any regional conflicts—and the Kingdom will not allow anyone to drag it into unrest.

“Bahrain is not involved in the war happening around us. We will not let our country be pulled into these tensions,” he said during a high-level meeting held on Wednesday. “Let’s protect what we’ve built—our peace, stability, and unity.”

The meeting brought together key government leaders, including members of the Shura Council and Council of Representatives, along with ministers and security officials. Discussions focused on Bahrain’s readiness to respond to emergencies and the importance of keeping the public informed.

Shaikh Rashid stressed that Bahrain’s strength lies in its national unity and the dedication of its institutions under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Minister also warned against falling for rumors and misinformation that can create unnecessary panic. “Spreading false information is harmful and illegal,” he said. “We must stand together and not allow social peace to be disturbed.”

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh echoed this message, commending the government’s proactive approach in strengthening civil defense, ensuring the safety of residents, and continuing the nation’s peaceful and diplomatic approach to global challenges.

The meeting ended with a strong, united message: Bahrain remains committed to protecting its people, maintaining national security, and preserving its stability—no matter what challenges arise.
