China has officially confirmed the finalization of a new trade agreement framework with the United States, marking a step forward in improving economic ties between the two major economies.
According to a statement from China’s Ministry of Commerce, the deal involves Beijing agreeing to review and approve certain export-controlled items, while the U.S. will lift a set of limited trade restrictions.
This move follows earlier talks between the leaders of both countries and reflects efforts to implement their shared understanding. The aim is to build a healthier, more stable, and sustainable trade relationship.
A spokesperson for the ministry expressed hope that "China and the United States will meet each other halfway," stressing the importance of cooperation for long-term economic stability.
